Girls cream chunky over cabled over cardy

I designed, knitted and part wrote the pattern for this chunky cardy, it has sat in my draw as a finished garment till I went back and completed the pattern.

The cardy is worked in cream chunky, so it knits up quick, I added a cable down each front

And short sleeves so it can be worn over a long sleeved t-shirt

I knitted one of these for my grand-daughter in a mixed deep maroon colour, she loved it and has worn it a lot over her long sleeved t-shirts.

Wavy Lacy Hairband and Cuffs

With summer coming it is time to design some hairbands rather than ear warming headbands.  As cuffs are a fashionable item I thought I would design matching cuffs.

I decided to use the four row feather stitch pattern, that would mean the hairband and cuffs could be worked to any width required.  Narrow or deep, they would have wavy edges
